Thanks for the share. Good, but disheartening read.

I tend to think there's a bigger problem with fishing charter's in general.

this is commercial fishing boats, not charters....???? unless I'm completely missing your point?

Did you read the article above ? Go to stripers online and read about all the stuff the NC fish commision is letting these guys get away with killing all these fish . There is a lot more pics of thousands of dead stripers were the bass were caught and killed of the coast of NC in there wintering grounds this stuff hapens every year with no justice

charters are for rent fishing such as you taking a trip to fly fish.

Trawlers are commercial such as netting fish for the markets, ie, grocery stores. trawlers do alot of damage to bottom structure along with none commercial fish such as young stripers, sea turtles, etc..
