Do you expect fish activity to slow down a bit? After the last couple weeks of well above average temps, higher than normal bug activity, etc .. is the return of 30s-60s around the state going to slow things down?

Or do you expect the more active than normal start to the season will just keep on chugging along?

Maybe it will, but it all dependent on water temperature and sunlight at this point. Water temperature stimulates fish and macroinvertabrates to feed once it gets about 40°. Once water temps hit 50° fish start feeding every day. With no leaves on the trees yet water temps will rise to dangerous level on warm days, but on most days water temps will be ideal for feeding.

One note, bugs have to go through many stages before hatching, and even though water temps are warmer than what we'd have in a normal year, last year with all the rain in eastern PA the water temps were cooler during the warm weather months, in part because flows were high.
It's still a crap shoot, though if I were a betting man I'd bet on activity continuing.
