Does anyone know something about this? Can a person under the age of 16 go to a stocked lake and catch and keep trout as lone as the adult doesn't fish?

I was under the understanding a person under the age of 16 does not need a license at all. Regardless of the adult's action. So my answer is yes as long as they keep no more trout than the limit.

At least that's how it worked when I was a kid.

Here's all the regs: http://fishinpa.com/

Yes. And the adult does not need a license as long as the adult does not do any rod handling in the direction of the water, which is the best way that I can put it. Different rules apply only to the May 10 Mentored Youth Day lakes and canal.
