the "POND" ?

The Yellow Breeches Creek , especially the special regulations stretch below Children's Lake is one of my favorite and closeby streams to fish. I read an article by an author who reporter success using wooly bugger on the "POND" part of that stretch. Does anybody what part of the Yellow Breeches he may be referring to? all input welcome

My guess would be the slow water above the dam at Allenberry.
