Heard something on the radio today about deepening the lake. Anyone know what thats all about?

Dear bushwacker,
Yes, what it means is that they are not going to drain the lake after a drowning last summer. They will keep the lake at 24 feet in depth and station lifeguards at the swimming beach.
It's basically an old quarry pit that filled in with water and it's certainly not, nor ever will it be, much of a fishing destination.
