Went to LLH the other eve. I hooked a large rainbow and while trying to land him a small brown about 9'' jumped out of the water about 4' away from me and grabbed my dropper fly, which was about a foot above the surface of the water. While releasing the bow I noticed a large Heron scar on his back.

There is a Heron that has a broken wing living on the Heritage section. My friends dog made a good try in catching him but the Heron swam faster than Cody. The darn things eat a lot of trout and I would like to blast a few of them with the double barrel.
Been many years that I scored a double!

you ask me you were probally trolling with the little brown...

Hurons make good eating, taste like a cross between a redtail hawk and a loon.

You eat native americans? (Hurons)

its his secret ingredient in his deer chili every year at the get together at the LLH,
