........ after a two hour battle with a Brookie in Stony Creek the fish got off and sent the hook straight for my guides big nose. (Frenchy wasnt realy French his last name was Jaborwasky, he didnt like the nick name , Jab, so he called himself Frenchy) at the speed of light and sunk into the shank on the bridge. Blood was everywhere and Frenchy was sceaming like a black friday shopper after the last $ 29 186" tv sold out with no rain checks. I tried to grab the hook with my made in China oficial boyscout knife and gps but he wouldnt hold still. Finaly I pulled my 500 S&W out ( for bears abd T-Rex's ) and shot hium through both feet. That slowed him down enough to pull the barbed 3/0 hook out . After several hours on the Life Flight we arrived at the Trauma center and they said he would make it but he wouldnt dance again.
