Floating furled leaders

I started to use furled leaders late last year for nymphing. This year I wanted to use them for dry flies but they all seem to sink. I used the furled leaders from last year and started to tie my own but they all seem to sink. Can you use a furled leader for dry flies or are they best to use with nymphing?

grease it.albolene would be my suggestion.or mucilin.

treat the leaders with watershed( follow the directions on the bottle), then use Loon Payette Floatant on stream
