I have refreshed my self with some of the older subject threads on vest and chest bags. Although it seemed 50/50 for either or, I wanted to know what everyone thinks about those strap bags from Filson. I have had an older Orvis vest for some time now and have gotten good service from it. Now, I'm looking for something to hold my boxes, flashlite, and gear, without being so hot. I have also added a lanyard from (knotsmith) which holds all my tools. So now I need something light weight for heavier fishing trips. Can anyone give me any feedback on either the strap vest or tackle strap bag from Filson?
