Tying Suggestions

Just booked a last minute trip up to state college in 2 weeks, any suggestions for what to tie in the event a hatch is on? I realize nobody has a crystal ball, but it seems as though the hatches are starting fairly early this year.

I would say to have Grannoms and Hendricksons. That would be early for both but it has been quite warm and hatches should be early. Not sure if they will be that early but who knows. I'm heading up for Easter weekend and I hope that are coming off by then. BWO's are always a good choice too.

i've been over that way a few times in the last few weeks. I have done well on caddis pupa and bwo nymphs. size 12-16. Also talked to a few guys that were picking them up on black stoneflys

Thanks Fox and Miltiades. I was thinking there could be a possibility of Grannoms as well. It will be a nice change to tie something bigger than a 20! Good luck when you get up, Fox.
