Interesting looking fly for sure.
Although, knowing how picky Big D trout can be - I'd be surprised to hear about them falling for any attactor pattern like this.
You guys will have to let us know if you try them up there, and how they work

I've heard of that!

I have about half a dozen Tioga State Forest maps laying around here, but the color looks different in the photo. I guess there might be a little bit of a color shift.

Or did they come out with a new version of the map recently?

The top photo is off color. The bottom is closer to what it really looked like. I had my white balance set at cloudy & I used the flash. I like to use the cloudy setting outdoors most of the time. It gives me warmer colors. It's an older map (1996).

The first photo is the Susquehannock state forest. The photo with the Tioga state forest is right over a natural area so that may have caused the color to look a little different as well, they are shaded differently.
