Heading up the the cabin this weekend. Trying to do some fishing on Kettle Creek around Oleona but couldn't seem to find any updated fishing reports. Any info on the conditions up there would be greatly appreciated. I was thinking about just running some early dark stoneflies.

Thanks,
Brian

I recommend a broom, a duster and a mop. Have fun.

ahhhh not what i wanted to hear! cabin fever to the max!

you could try ice fishing on kettle but bring an auger.

i would be very surprised if it is still frozen as the temps have been above freezing all week

Don't bet on it. It might have some open water in the middle but the edges are probably still frozen. The nights have been in the mid teens. Pine is still frozen on the edges, only the center of the stream is open. And if it does open completely there will be flooding.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THE COMBINATION OF SLOWLY MELTING SNOW AND A PERIOD OF LIGHT TO
MODERATE RAIN MAY CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING IN POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS. WARMER TEMPERATURES WILL ALSO INCREASE THE CHANCE FOR ICE
JAMS...WITH SMALLER STREAMS THE MOST VULNERABLE.
