Anyone fish the Savage River in MD?

I will be in that area for work. Plan on fishing a few evenings. How is the Savage? Do tell!!

It's well worth the trip.

There's a good bit of discussion of this stream here on PAFF if you look around. If you check page 3 of Stream Reports there's a pretty recent report.

I recommend you use a wading staff, it can be a tricky stream to wade. Felt soles, of course, are banned in MD. Savage is a didymo stream.
