LJRA will have a low water clean up Saturday September 8th.
From LJRA site (July minutes):
A low-water cleanup to supplement the annual spring cleaning is now planned for September 8. This will involve walking boats and canoes through the water to get to trash in the streams, on islands and along the banks. This will require volunteers with boats and trucks to carry the trash. For each boat or canoe we will assign four volunteers and clean-up an additional mile of “j” banks and islands. We will gather at the Park and Ride in Tyrone at 9:00AM on September 8th. Details will follow as we approach the event.
The Park and ride lot is below the I99 bridge. It can be accessed via E. 10th street
