Red Tide

The Red Tide has decimate much of the Gulf Coast from Clearwater south to Naples area. Tons of dead fish including Snook and Red Fish. The Bays remain ok ,but the problem is not over. If your entertaining a trip please check locally before spending money on a trip.
Snook and Red Fish closed /catch and release in this area till there is a stock assessment probably next spring.
Right now it's a run to 80 ft. to get any decent fishing. Sad!! GG :-(

That sucks. I've been following the situation with what information I can glean and it don't sound good for the fishery.

Fortunately it's backing down and the coastal waters are looking better.

Red Tide is still here ,this cold snap may get rid of it. Kingfish and bait reported near the beaches. Worst Red Tide I can remember. GG
