Lynnhaven Inlet 9/29

Fished twice on Saturday from my kayak in Lynnhaven Inlet VA:

Dayshift- Fished in broad bay from 8-1. Lots o' tailbiters no hookups. Had a few solid hits at the grass island across from the pilot dock.

Nightshift- 8:30pm-12:30am. Different game at night. Docklights + small flies = fish. Caught Stripers, pups, blue fish and spot all on fly rod. Flys had to be in the 2" range to get bit.

Thanks! That place was thick with them this year. Mostly small, but they have been almost absent for the past 2 years so it is a great sign for the future.

I just caught this thread...nice post!

I grew up down there but didn't flyfish til I moved up here. I always wanted to hit the Lynnhaven at night, so jealous
