It should be noted that this article also links to the new published study of channel catfish in the Susquehanna. The short version is that (not surprisingly) the river has a good abundance of catties. They study did reveal stronger populations in the section of river downstream from York Haven.

Doesn't surprise me... this is the section I fish the most and I caught quite a few catfish on the fly rod this summer.
