I know its tough to find but I've been looking for a Greys Streamflex XF2 in 4 wt 9-10ft. If anyone has one they are willing to part with or knows of a source please let me know. Thanks!

Dude, I have a Syndicate P2 10' 3wt for sale. Just saying! Great nymphing rod.

Fenwick Aetos rod is now the Streamflex XF2 since Greys is part of Pure Fishing. They are readily available.

Thanks, Big Bass. The Aestos is really just the same as the greys GR50 which is currently available for purchase in the us.

They do not offer a 4wt in the 9 ft range. The new GR70 Streamsflex replaced the Streamflex XF2 but is only available in the UK.

This is why I was looking for an older Streamflex.

HopBack,

Try Badger Creek near Ithaca, NY.

website is:

eflytyer.com or more specifically, http://eflytyer.com/tackle/greys.html

Good luck

don't know the seller but found this: http://www.washingtonflyfishing.com/forum/threads/greys-streamflex-xf2-9-4-weight.116379/

I've got the 10ft 5wt, great rod

Man, I get it why your trying to find one. I traded a forum member my TFO BVK for the 10ft 4wt XF2. Probably my favorite nymphing rod and I own an ESN 3wt and others. A lot of comp guys started jumping ship from them when ownership was changed due to not gonna beinh able to warrenty them if broken. My suggesting would troll some of the comp fishing sites. One of those guys may being willing to sell.

The Hardy/Fenwick rep at the Somerset Fly fishing told me it was the aetos was the same blank as the streamflex as well.

^^ This could be true but the finish and quality are nothing like the Greys model. Also the 4wt Aestos is only available in the 8ft length and I am looking for a 9-10ft rod.

Thanks for all the replies everyone I will have to check out some of the sources that you provided.
