A flute player breaks into a British museum and makes off with a million dollars worth of dead birds.

I just checked this book out of the library. Have not started it yet though.

I read it a few weeks ago. Interesting story-I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in fly tying or fly fishing. However, my main criticism would be that the author writes it in a voice that he tries to project an intense-crime-of-the-century-murder-mob-mystery....but it's not that.

Read it, and decide for yourself.

Read it. Fascinating. That's a whole world I never knew existed, and I do mean whole world. Definitely recommend it

Here’s an abridged version for those who like podcasts - https://www.thisamericanlife.org/654/the-feather-heist?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+talpodcast+%28This+American+Life+Podcast%29

I listened to it on NPR while traveling Sat. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Some aspects are a little dramatic but still interesting.

Crazy fly people.

It is an excellent podcast. I recommended it to a friend who also loved it.
