While fishing the LLH today I saw a mink with a rainbow almost as big as it carrying it along the bank .
The bow was so big he had to stop often and rest.
Between the egrets, herons, mergansers, ospreys, kingfishers and the weather the trout population has dropped considerably. It's not like it was a few years ago.

don't forget old codgers taking fish like yourself. I heard you had your whole church over for a fish fry !!!

I get more worried about the 'human herons' taking fish this time of year.
