I got up about 5:30 this morning and fished the upper end of the catch and release section of Donegal Creek, I caught and landed 10 trout and missed a few others. Several on streamers and most on top using mostly black ant. I caught five from one hole. They were rising pretty vigorously but I could not tell for what. Mostly browns, but a few rainbow also. What a cool morning. the water is cold and with the warm humid weather there was an early morning fog and mist over the water. Really awesome way to spend the first half of the 4th. Now I am gonna go smoke some turkey.
