Where is the TCO in Spruce Creek ?

Last I heard they closed down. Spruce Creek Outfitters is IMO a much better shop anyway.

As noted, the web site confirms they have no location in Spruce Creek: http://www.tcoflyfishing.com/TCO_Fly_Fishing_About_TCO.cfm

Spruce Creek Outfitters is right at the crossing of Rte 45 over the Little J in the Village of Spruce Creek:

In case you dont know, Alan Bright has been a large force for all flyfishermen whether his reasoning was self serving or not. The outcome benefitted all and Spruce Ceek Outfitters deserves our support when in the area.

Yeah, that and his lightning bug fly is KILLER.

I agree that Allan has helped in the way of access and setting a precedent and his shop is in an ideal location.

However, I've been in there about 30 times and even though I was looking to buy something he doesn't have much. It is his perogative, but I just feel he could do SO much better if he carried some more "stuff"...

With that said, TCO decided to target the entire Central PA market with their State College store. It sounds like it is working out decently for them.

His lighting bug fly was always a good reason to stop in. The best reason for going there was to see and talk to his lovely Daughter!

so did the shop that used to be TCO close down then or did it go back to being non TCO affiliated, I believe it was called spruce creek fly co previously

I believe the shop closed. Spruce Creek Fly Co. is now more of a guide operation.
