PaulG I know you said you wouldn't be able to make the morning coffee this year. I'm willing to do it. I will bring my electric coffee perk again this year. I think it is a 30 cup perk so it might last a couple minutes in the morning. If I have PaulG's perk as well and we pitch in to defray the cost of the coffee I will be more than happy to do it. I will be arriving on Friday morning sometime. It will be a little late for Friday morning coffee but I can do it for Saturday and Sunday. I'll bring the coffee and an empty can for donations. See you guys in a few weeks!

Groove: Will you accept responsibility for coffee on Saturday and Sunday morning? You don't have to be the first to wake up, but it would be nice if you can arrange to get Paul's urn and to bring your own. I can bring coffee cups, cream and sugar and the coffee itself. The pavillion has been rented for our use and we can probably have everything ready the night before so that the first to arrive can put the brew on and unpack the supplies. My cabin is a hop , skip and a jump from the pavillion and I usually wake up early, so if I'm not the first to get to the pavillion, I shouldn't be far behind.

JackM, I accept the responsibility of the coffee for Saturday and Sunday. PaulG is you could bring the urn by sometime on Friday that would be great or is you want to meet somewhere along the way on Friday I can get the urn from you. I will be arriving sometime Friday probably around 10-11. We can work out the logistics of where we are keeping stuff Friday night but I assume it will be safe to stay overnight in the pavilion. I'm a big coffee drinker so I am more than happy to take the responsibility for it this year. Jack if you are bringing all the coffee and condiments I won't worry about that but let me know if you need me to bring anything else.

I'm pumped, can't wait. Jack, I'll be bringing my French Press for coffee all days, you're welcome to as much as you need.

On a side note: I think I'll be staying at the Feathered Hook on Friday. Was hoping to split the cost of a room so if anyone needs a place to stay Friday night let me know. It's not TOO far from the campgrounds and right on Penns, for those not too familiar with the area.

If anyone has any space available and would be willing to accommodate me on Friday let me know so I can cancel my reservations.

Anyone have any advice on filling a fly box for the jam? Maybe a "must have" pattern or two. Sounds like Sulphurs and maybe March Browns...any favorite style drys or nymphs?

Ive never had a chance to fish central PA before. I've always wanted to get to Spring Creek. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

As far as Sulphur nymphs your standard pheasant tail will do the trick.

Wow, less than a month. Time flies! Lookin forward to it.

Yup, sulphurs and march browns. Need nymphs (PT), emergers, duns, and spinners. Also, BIG pheasant tails to represent green drake nymphs, which likely won't be hatching yet but will be active underwater.

And, of course, as is jam tradition, it's going to rain. A lot. In that case, streamers are always good. A black bugger or sculpin is worthwhile to have along.

Jack,

I know some of the other cabins were being built and are suppose to ready for the Jam. Any word on if all that actually happened?

I hope they get them finished, since they already have my money for one. On that note I actually have a guy who is up in the air and won't know until a week or two before if he can make it, so I'll let you know if we have a spare bunk available.

That's what I'm talkin' about. I hope. If not I can always sleep in my truck and buy lots of extra booze with the money I get back.
