We don't get out as much as we used to. Both of us completed an Angling challenge issued last Christmas: Catch two trout on the Barbie rod then pass it to the next contestant.

Second trout to accomplish the mission:

Strawman nymph dead drifted under the film - who needs a $1000 Sage/Orvis/Hardy/Loomis/etc rig anyway?

Oldest son with stocker Brown on a sulphur floating nymph. He completed the Barbie two Troot challenge earlier:

PM and we'll send you the rod. We have one batter on deck then it's on you! Bet we had as much fun as anyone this day (but not before remembering my fallen comrades in arms this morning).

That's awesome. LOL My rod of choice is my 2.5 year old son's buzz light year rod. It has LEDs that light up in the handle when you push the button to cast.
