I was wondering whats everyone's go to flies are for opening day. First time I'll be attending opening day.

Egg pattern, pheasant tail, hares ear, woolly bugger usually gets it done on stocked trout.

Eggs and squirmys

Honey bugs !

Bead head Z-wing caddis Pupa tied in flashy green or chartreuse.

Eggs and ducker spawn
San Juan worm
Wooly bugger
Copper John
Honey bugs
Can't go wrong on fresh fish with those.

I probably won't fish till afternoon. I am hoping to be able to fish with a dry fly: the old stand-by, the Adams, in size 14.

I don't judge a book by it's cover, likewise I do not have any preconceived ideas of what I should use as far as flies. Every opening day is different, sometimes there are hatches sometimes there are not. It also depends if I'm fishing brookie streams or brownie streams.
Having said that I plan on being ready for whatever the day brings, including rain and snow.

olive wooly bugger, brown wooly bugger, black wooly bugger,

Wooly bugger, with a bright nymph or egg dropper.

Unless you are seeing rises, probably would not focus too hard on the surface.
