Was thinking of hitting the Little J on Friday. Thought the break in the hot weather and being overcast might just be the ticket. I imagined all day sulphurs! Now they are saying a high of 59, overcast with some possibility of showers. I will enjoy the cooler temps but how do you think the trout will react to this sudden and somewhat drastic change?

Be very careful with water level rises. (Flash floods). I find that when the cooler temps hit there are less fisher people out. bite should be fairly good in my opinion. Try a selection of nymphs of types/colors and sizes to see what they hit on. I was out Sunday and let 15 trout get acquainted with my net. It was a perfect day of Browns and Rainbows and I reach the 100 trout mark for the season.
