Welcome to the site, GRR. If you're in Glenside, then Valley, Stony or French Creeks might do you right; maybe even the Upper Perk.
I'm in West Norriton and try to ply the above mentioned waters a couple times a week. There's several other local-yocals with whom to get into some water around this part of MontCo, so you're bound to have some company soon. Sounds like you met a venerable local resource in that AFishing Mgr type @ Orvis Plymouth Mtg, too.
