This little wild brown was so much fun on my new 8 foot 2wt matched with a Hardy Ultralite reel. A bit windy today for a 2wt. Also I'm relatively new (just under a year) to fly fishing.

Thats a nice little setup you got there. Those Hardy reels are pretty slick. Superfine speaks for itself.

Yeah I had casted one a few weeks back and have not gotten it out of my mind - it's a slow action but it loads up well and throws short range darts. Perfect for a little wild brown stream in my area. Ha how's that for not spot burning ;)
Ps I'm not sure if I successfully uploaded the photo?

There it is.. Thank you sbecker- you're sig quote is the best line from the Hangover.

Nice color on that fish! So the Rod was everything you wanted it to be?

Nice trout. I love flyfishing with ultralight rods especially 2 and 3 weights. It looks like you do too! :-D

Pretty fish. Gotta love a 2 wt. GG

The lightest I had previous is a 10 ft -4wt Streamflex - (my nymphing rod) And my 5wt Clearwater 8'6- so yes having a 2wt is so much fun.
I thought even in the wind the rod could present a size 26 CDC olive on that particular stream. 20-30 feet being a long cast - Got into 7-8 fish yesterday and to be able to feel even those VC fingerlings was really something.

Beautiful fish and sweet rig.
