I don't think we will see that for awhile. Even Lake Erie is frozen solid.

That is a ways off, but hopefully it holds true. We're heading up to our 'cabin' in Sinnemahoning and it would be nice to take the fly rod instead of the sled and skis! I can remember being up there in years past and the temps barely broke zero. Upper 40's/low 50's would be great!

I checked Emporium which is the closest I could get to Sinnemhanoning and it's showing temps in the mid 40's with a mixed bag of precip. Still good fishing weather to me! :-D

On a side note, I bet the ice fishermen are loving this year. I can't remember the last time we've had ice like this. You know, with global warming and all...

Check out http://www.sterlingrun.com/. This is a real time weather station about halfway between Emporium and Sinnemahoning. I like the webcam to really see what's going on.
