This summer I was accepted to go to the Bighorn River Youth adventure. It was almost no cost to me or my family (except the airfare) and it was for several days in Fort Smith, MT on the Bighorn River. 11 other kids from around the country were selected. 1 from NY, 1 from PA (me), 3 from NC, 1 from Missouri, 1 from Texas, 1 from California, 1 from South Dakota, 1 from Kansas, 1 from Minnesota, and 1 from Michigan. It was a great group of kids, there were 10 guys and 2 girls. Everybody was awesome and generous (companies donated gear, guides-trips, owners-lodging). We ended up with free meals, free lodging, free gear, free guided trips, and an experience of a lifetime. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. They aren't all the photos I had, just a couple.

Nothing happening in Fort Smith but trout fishing.

That's fantastic. Good for you gaeron.

Don't know who you went with. But there is an organization in the pittsburgh area called Family Tyes that mentors youth in fly fishing. And they used to take a group of young people out to the bighorn river too
