Sorry to repost but it's getting closer... This year's River Sweep for the Ohio River and some of its tribs will be held on Saturday June 16th from 8-noon. If you live to the north of Pittsburgh, I can tell you of 2 cleanup sites. One is at the Leetsdale Fish and Boat Commission boat launch and the other one is at the Kilbuck Fish and Boat Commission boat launch in Glenfield. If anyone is interested we would welcome the help. The Glenfield site, which I am coordinating, is brand new for this year and needs a lot of work. You can also go to the website: www.orsanco.org/river-sweep for more details and locations that might be closer to you. So wear some old clothes and pitch in. You'll even get a free River Sweep shirt for coming on out. You never know, you might even catch a couple of smallies after you help out! Thanks and hope to see some of you there.
