Any suggestions for a pseudo-newbie to find deals online for gear like chest packs, waders, accessories?

I dealt with Fishwest recently, and they were great. For the brand name stuff, I hate to admit it, but you usually can't beat Cabelas, especially if you have one of their credit cards with points and get the discount mailers. For tying materials, I like performanceflies.com.

Sipe,
By all means consider those online companies that sponsor PAFF. Take a look at Allen Fly Fishing or Risenfly. I don't know if they have chest packs or waders but general accessories like rods, reels, fly lines etc are available. You can also check our Shop Talk forum for more info from the online FF retailers.
