I'm convinced all fishing requires no drag on the reel, I just need to find enough fish to put my theory to the test.

You can even palm your spinning reels if you're of mind to, so what's the point mucking about with mechanical bits if the little sausage links at the ends of your arms can do it all?

I just need to start finding some carp and getting adept at hooking them to nail this theory down.
