Guru "Clicker"

Has anyone removed the "clicker" from and Lamson Guru real? I'm assuming the clicker does not actually perfume any funtion in regard to the drag system other than providing noise.

Is there a way to do it without breaking/cutting off the little black piece of plastic?

I think tberes a pin or screw holding in the plastic tab. Should be able to remove it that way. I grabbed mine with forceps, twisted an it was no more.

There is a screw holding the plastic arm on. Loosen it up and turn it out of the way, re tighten, you don't loose the arm and screw that way.
