Ammonite , every Thursday 6-8pm at the "Dew Drop Inn" little red-neck bar along rt 31 , Very nice looking nymph , looks like it would get down fast , have you had much success on it Lou or is it a new one to try out yet?

Osprey;
I have had good days when they would take nothing else and other days when like any other fly it only produced a few fish. I usually use it when fishing is slow.

Lou,
Can you include the material list?

Thanks.

Is that the latex body version?

Lead underbody use thread to shape
Latex or thin skin for body and wing case
dubbing thorax
partridge legs
I coat it with nail polish or softex after coloring it

If you google it there are a lot of videos and tutorials wich will be a lot of help.

are you still going to tie a size 20 woven body dry fly ? Better watch out or Henry will beet you to it...LOL..

Can be colored with Sharpies. I used olive, brown, and orange/brown mix. They work well in clear water.

Lou showed me that a few years ago at a fly tying night. The nail polish slightly washes the ink providing a mottled effect. Just brush the polish lightly. Just dabbing works well.

Hmmmm a size 20 woven body !!!!!!!!!!
Maybe a size 24 !!!!!!!!!!!

Dare ya !!!!

Careful, Bob. He may double-dare ya' and then we know who has to go first ;-)

Have to figure it out first , whether I want to use chennile or yarn
Ohhhhhhh the decisions ,so many !!!!!!

at size 24 you guys should be weaving thread

weaving anythign is more than a challenge for me
