Pretty good... He fusses a good deal more than I do, but most tiers probably do. I'm always in a hurry. I don't bother with the super glue or the melting. I use hard Mason, usually in 16 or 20 lb.

It can be tricky/take some experimentation to get a degree of tension that works as a weed guard but doesn't discourage hookups..
