Thunder Nymph

Has anyone ever tied and/or used this fly?

I heard about it the other day.
The reason I ask is because the person catching fish that day was using a Thunder Nymph but I didn't get to see the fly. Are there any other variations of this fly?

Never used a thunder nymph but the instructions underneath that explain how to tie woven bodies are cool.

Nick, I always wanted to do woven nymphs and I had a hard time doing it with 2 spools and crossing them over. I learned this way form a tying class I took and no I have some really great looking nymphs with no spool hassle.

I have seen some nymphs woven with 2 different materials. They look great. That is my next attempt at weaving.
