With terrestrial season right around the corner I decided to go thru my terrestrial box to see what I need to top off and was thinking about adding a few new ones. What your favorite terrestrial patterns? I've had some great days with this black cricket.

That's a very nice looking cricket pattern. I bet the fish do slam it!

My mainstay is a simple crowe beetle - in sizes #12 to #20. Have caught fish practically everywhere I've been on them

Dang that's a beautiful cricket!

Awesome cricket!

Delta- what are you using for the "hi viz" portion of those beetles?

Looks like nail polish drop right on top or something like that?

It's Puffy paint for fabric. Walmart sells it for less than a buck.

Love that tie. Looks as though it can take a beating. My favorite terrestrial is the jassid. I am partial to black with palmered grizzley and ginger with palmered Cree hackle. First saw this fly used on a CV limestoner by Lefty Kreh. Think I was 1973. I've never seen anyone catch more fish in an afternoon. I still have 5 of the 6 jassids he gave me that day.

Dan check pm
