I found out through trial and error last night that zap a gap does not bond two pieces of foam together. Suggestions for a super glue that I may be able to get with a brush applicator to tie foam with. Thanks in advance!

Krazy Glue works for me, comes with a brush applicator.

zap a gap actually eats the foam, they make foam safe CA glue.

Weird. I have used zap a gap on foam and never had it melt the foam.

Whether or not a given solvent/glue dissolves foam depends on the chemistry of the foam.

use a spray adhesive like 3m's or an art type.

buy the adhesive backed pieces of foam. no crazy glues required

Superglue, the gel type, works well for me and I tie a lot of flies utilizing foam.
