Do you prefer

- POV were the camera is in the perspective of the tier?

- camera on the other side of the vise showing and the tier?

POV
Pros - watch actions in the same direction you tie
Cons - camera is not directly parallel with vise, so the view is sometimes from an angle

other side
Pros - camera is straight on to the vise
Cons - the view is opposite the direction as most tie

(I'm sure i'm missing pros/cons of both)

Either is fine so as long as the background is not too busy and the fly is in proper focus.

Either view works for me. The closer the better. With the camera opposite the tyer, some shirts are better than others. ;-) I have seen some where you can see the tyer's chin moving when he's talking. It's a little distracting.

Agreed. As a novice I also prefer something where the steps are described, but not a necessity.
