Post up your terrestrial patterns por favor. I'm gunna get into it this year now that I've got the itch to tie.

Tied my first (well...second) hopper today. Didn't really follow a specific pattern just looked at a bunch of pictures of different flies and threw it all into one. The first one's head and hackle didnt turn out right but this one doesn't look too bad I dont think.

Oh, wait... Err.... Roya...oh, hell, its just not a terrestial, is it? Still its my summer time goto. The only terrestial pattern I've ever used is a parachute fur ant.

I fish the fur ant with good success. I tie mine with red thread for some reason though seems to work better!
