Going light, then its a lanyard with the small box:

SInce I never bother to go anywhere I don't know, I suspect I'll be fine. If not, come mid May I'll give up on this and have a billion boxes of junk I never touch but peace of mind and a sore back.

Both boxes need more Usuals from size 14 to 18, in grey, brown, olive, and pale. I've been lazy.

My snowmelt box consists of mostly size 6 and 8 slumpbusters and buggers. Nymphs used are size 10 and 12 with mohair/leach hair or hares ear combed out. I may use a few egg patterns or stoneflies but smaller stuff doesn’t work on this week’s stream conditions in my area. I wish the smaller stuff worked for me.

I am one that still carrys 30 + boxes every day. oh and at least 3 different rods too. never know what i might need at the time..

I don't think I've gone fishing without at least two rods in the car, in case I want to switch up.
