Hiked to what I'm guessing was an old dam from 423 with my wife. Beautiful scene with water cascading down over a large section of rock. The high water made me feel like I was in the El Dorado forest in CA with the rock and cascade. So I will hike back there again sometime probably with wife or grandson, question ... is it worth carrying a rod back there or just go for the hike?

It is well worth taking a rod back with you.

Thanks for response. This would be a once or twice a year event for me. Spend a lot of time on Lehigh, Mud Run, and Pohopoco but it was so peaceful back there that I will go back.
