Stopped down to "PAs newest tailwater" in late morning to maybe see what this place was about and it didn't impress me. The stream seemed to lack habitat and from what I seen, fish. Fished from as close to the spillway as you can get down about 1/4 mile and couldn't even move a single fish.
These are my thoughts based on my expirience what are everyone else's thoughts on here?

Yes, tough. Can't fish very close to the outflow and it's like a bathtub bottom without much structure. In the couple times I've there , last time was a month or two ago- the flow would be very difficult to wade with its pushy 3 to 5 deep.

I haven't read or heard a positive review about the place yet.

Hey PFBC, where are the rest of the tailwaters you promised years ago? Raystown tailwater could be a destination fishery which equals more license sales !!

A properly managed raystown tailwater could become a trout fishing Mecca... kinda frustrating they don't move forward with it?

Spending millions to please fisherman is not on the appropriations committee calendar at this time.
