Pickering Creek DHALO

I went out to Pickering Creek DHALO section this afternoon. It was a beautiful day and I caught a ton of fish, both Rainbows and Browns. This was my first time fishing Pickering and it was an awesome first experience. I will definitely be back in the near future. I covered a good bit water but did not fish the entire DHALO section.

Forth photo down is a holdover.

As for the one in the fifth photo, I recommend not photographing fish like that. Contact with the dry ground and grit will remove slime and potentially increase the exposure of the fish to pathogens once returned to the water (bacteria, fungi enter through breaks in the slime). In a catch and release area or in out of season fishing anglers are required to return fish to the water in good condition.
