Perkiomen Creek Winter Fishing

Saw on the stocking schedule there is a winter stocking at the Deep Creek Dam. Does the Perkiomen Creek nearby fish well in the winter due to this stocking or does this mostly benefit Knight Lake?

Just the lake unless a few get washed down in a high water event. There are trout above the lake too but nothing really below it.

It is a rare lake from which there are not escapees over a dam if there is a surface spill. High flow is not required. I would give it a shot a few days after stocking and week,y thereafter for a few weeks.

Go to the section below Church Road near East Greenville. You may turn up something wild there.

The escapees from knight lake I have found headed towards the big green lane reservoir dam, there's a short section of accessible cold water in the area. But it's definitely hit or miss!
