I know we have a book forum but for the newbies I thought this book link might be worth a peek.

Where are the reviews? The link you have there talks about books in general as learning tools, then if you want to read reviews you are supposed to click on the other link which is a website about book reviews that does not have a single book review that I can find. What the hell am I missing?

If i was going to suggest a book for a newbie it would be "Trout" by Ray Bergman , you read that and you're hooked and yes things are a little out of date but it's like "the" book that will get those old curiosity wheels spinning.
