Thanks for reminding me. I went to one a few years back. Pretty cool. For those of you who don't know how to clean and cook panfish and walleye, they show you how and give out free samples. When it comes to fresh water fish, hard to beat panfish or walleye caught from cold water. It's better then tilapia.

Not sure the walleye will be ready for the spawning demonstration though. The breeders are not kept in the hatchery. Rather, they catch the spawners right from the refuge part of the lake.

Heck, there was still ice on much of the main lake as of yesterday. I'd bet it is still frozen up tight in the refuge where they put out the traps.
