2015 North Central PA Summit

I wanted to post this early because my wife and I are discussing our schedule for the Fall, and its a bit nutso. I believe moving the summit from April to the Fall was a GREAT move last year. However, October is out of the question for us in 2015.

So I am proposing a mid September date, 9/11-9/13.

Anyone have any serious objections to this weekend? We won't have the beautiful leaves, but fishing should still be very solid, won't be as chilly, and it'll at least be green up there.

Me too. Its not 100% out of the question (First weekend in October), but my wife isn't keen on it, and I know my dad has a hard time w/ that weekend 'cause its my parents' wedding anniversary.

hahahaha first come first serve on the beds, bro! But we replaced those mattresses and I think we got that little rodent issue taken care of.

Also, the porch was rebuilt.

I'm not ready to set a date for sure yet, but I just wanted to put feelers out to see how you guys felt about doing it a few weeks earlier. My preference is for that first weekend in October as well, but sometimes we's gots to be flexible.

No where close to planning food Jared!!!! I was just putting an idea out there for a date, to see how everyone felt about mid-September.

You never know when someone will try to fry jalapeno peppers and kill everyone in their sleep...

I will be doing as Biker did last year (wise man), and sleep in my own truck!!! I just need to build a bed/storage platform.

I will take bids on my bunk!

If Sal is sick again...I'm not going to sit beside him in a truck!

I will purchase a GPS, Sat phone and Bear Spray.

I will acquire a 0.5 or 1 or 2wt, 5-6ft rod to handle the whoppers. I will bring a guppy net.

I will bring a radar jamming device for Wetfly.

6 walkie-talkies programmed to the same channel.

I will carry more beer and snacks with me...the bear like it when you share.

I will remember to bring everything with me, like flashlights, even those it is 6:00 am...because Wetfly might drop you off in the middle of no-where and say see you after dark..."just walk up to the clearing...you'll see it...!

I will bring a better camera, just so I can take better pics of Artifishal's perfect casts.

I will ambush video Jared every 15 minutes...and then tell him his comments are not inspired enough...
