BH Prince Nymph

Still pretty new to fly tying, this was my first attempt at a prince nymph. I used brown Hungarian partridge for the collar. Didn’t have any red thread for the hot spot, but I think it looks buggy enough! Would you fish it? Constructive criticism welcome.

I don't love tying stuff that's not motivated by what I'm fishing for, but, honestly, I can't remember the last rising fish I've seen after like early July here in Upstate NY. A man needs a reason to stay up late wasting time, though...

Maybe I'll take a trip to the Farmington for some winter midges 🤷‍♂️
